This is why...

...we can't have nice things.  No, wait.  This is why you never leave a musician alone with a webcam.

This video is entitled 'Paganini for Face' and I'm only sad I didn't think of it first.  I'm pretty sure I know am related to people with mobile faces.  Enjoy!

I don't give myself enough credit

I'm not completely feeble, but I truly did not think I could really do Jazzercise.  Now, granted, I'm not great at it and I choose to think that everyone else looks as sweaty, gross, and floppyawkward as I do, but I can complete an entire session and still walk out of the building and go home and not die.

That feels like an accomplishment.

Feel the burn!

Jazzercise was fun!  Sadly there was no 80's Barbie spandex and leg warmers, however...pregnant instructor in animal print spandex definitely ties for a close second.  I finished the whole thing!  Going into it I wasn't sure I could, but my time dancing in musicals has finally paid off!  My time in marching band...not so much -- what do you mean I'm not supposed to lead with my left?!?

In unrelated un-news, I think the reason I like the reduced sodium V8 so much is that it tastes like the tomato sauce they put in crappy, off-brand spaghetti Os.  Just throwin' that out there.

Tonight for dinner: 16oz of V8, 3 medium eggs almost over-easy, mustard, and an orange.  It's an almost balanced, almost completely yellow meal.  Actually it looks more like a sunset.  I'm eating the sunset.  Surprisingly, not as hot as you might imagine.

Success!

I did good last week. :)  Thanks to all who help keep me motivated.  I need it.  Keep it up.

I just flew in from Phoenix and, man, are my arms le tired!

Gosh I hope you all (yes, all 5 of you) enjoy my weird, twisted, at times corny (oh boy!) sense of humor.   If you don't, oh well, I amuse me.  And isn't that the point of life?

But seriously folks, I am in pain.  Good pain, but pain nonetheless.  I just finished doing this set of exercises:

On paper it looks innocuous enough.  Don't be fooled.

And they were effective, even though (especially because?) I am, admittedly, a wimp.  Some of the pain could be from the giggling I was doing as I attempted the moves, since in addition to my middle name not being Grace the ball I have is too big.  The pendulum one was particularly hysterical. As with beauty, I guess the pain is how you know it's working.

Also, I bought a coupon for Jazzercise, which I'm super excited about!  I mean, come on, it has "Jazz" in the name -- how could it not be awesome?  Maybe I'll even see Jazziclese in leg warmers and a unitard. (If so, someone I know is back on the hook for writing that particular myth.  You know who you are.)  I'm trying not to get my hopes up for 80's Barbie Jazzercise, but I must admit I'm kind of hoping...
